8" Damascus K-Tip with pau rosa and blackwood handle.
The blade on this 8” (201mm) K-Tip is forged out of a 300 + layer damascus steel billet of 15N20 & 1084 carbon steels. The blade is 54mm at the heal and has a forged taper along the spine of 2.8 - 1.0mm. The handle is a beautiful figured piece Tanzanian pau rosa with an African blackwood ferrule. I have also added my fancy ‘5’ pin to bing a little bling :)
The overall length of the knife is 14.5” (370mm) with the handle itself being 6” (150mm) and it weighs 184g.
The blade is carbon steel, has a differential flat grid and is hardened to 60 HRC (approx)
NOTE - Carbon steel will patina over time so requires a little care to keep it looking at its best. I supply care instructions with every knife sent out.
